St. Petersburg. 11 September. PJSC “TGC-1” is exploring the possibility of building wind farms (VES) in the territory of St. Petersburg and the Leningrad region.
As they say in the materials “SPARK-Marketing”, the company hired “PRO GRES” LLC to search and determine the parameters of sites for the construction of such stations. The works must be performed on time no later than October 31 of the current year. The capacity of wind farms can reach 50 MW.
The coordination of the sites with Rosaviation and airports should be completed in September. In the current month, maps of the wind energy potential of the region should also be compiled using archival data. “PRO GRES” should determine at least three sites in the territory of the Leningrad region and the same – in the territory of Kronstadt.
It is planned that equipment for the stations will be delivered by sea. When searching for sites, the contractor must take into account that their area should be sufficient to accommodate wind farms with a capacity of at least 30 MW each.
According to the “SPARK Interfax” system, “PRO GRES” LLC is 100% owned by Spectrum JSC, which belongs to individuals, citizens of the Russian Federation.
TGK-1 unites 53 power plants in St. Petersburg, Karelia, Leningrad and Murmansk regions. The installed electric capacity of the company is 7.36 GW, thermal power is 14.422 Gcal / h. TGK-1 is controlled by Gazprom, 29.45% of the shares are owned by the Finnish concern Fortum Power & Heat Oy., whose Russian subsidiary Fortum is an active participant in the Russian wind energy market, is building the first 35 MW Wind Park in Russia in the Ulyanovsk region will be put into operation this year.
According to the Association of the Wind Industry, in the Leningrad region there is still one of the most advanced wind park project with a capacity of 70 MW, – Windpar No. 1 in the Leningrad Region, which is planned to be built in the Volkhov District. Pre-design works have been completed at the site of the wind park, the project is in the pre-investment stage.
