Looking back, on September 5, 2018, Siemens Game Renewable Energy and Siemens Tekhnologii Gazovykh Turbin, LLC (STGT) signed an agreement on the assembly of 3.4 MW wind turbines in Russia. The production of the wind generators will be launched at the STGT’s site of in Gorelovo (St. Petersburg).

The production is scheduled to commence in August 2019. The wind turbines will be produced for the technological partner of the company, the Italy-based Enel, for the construction of three wind farms in Russia: the Azov wind farm in the Rostov Oblast (90 MW); a wind farm in the Murmansk Oblast (201 MW); and the Rodnikovskiy wind farm (71.25 MW) in the Stavropol Krai. It is planned to finish the construction of the wind farms in 2020, 2021 and 2024, respectively.
