Join RAWI

The members of the RAWI are the market leaders directly influencing its cultivation. These are global wind turbines manufacturers, the Russian and foreign industrial and power engineering flagships, logistics, engineering, design & construction and insurance companies, research & development and educational establishments and diplomatic organizations.

Any legal entity that recognizes the Charter of the RAWI, fulfills the requirements of the Regulations on Associateship in the Association, and can contribute to the cultivation of the wind energy market in Russia, can become a member of the Association.

The association has the most up-to-date information about the market developments. The members of the RAWI receive support in establishing of contacts with all market participants, up-to-date information on projects and the construction of wind parks, on the wind turbines production in Russia. The Association helps to find partners and choose the right direction in the new market for companies starting work on the wind energy market in Russia, to correctly conduct trade enquiries.

Members categories

The members of the Association, depending on the degree of their participation in the wind energy market, are divided into categories to fully meet the needs of the members of the Association:

1. Academic members (educational establishments)

Academic members of the Association (educational establishments only) are the legal entities that do not have an established goal of receiving of profit; conduct educational or research activities in energy, ecology, applied sciences; the activities of these public organizations are not aimed at achieving political objectives.

Academic members use the intelligence of the Association and participate in the educational programmes of the Association, provide the Association members with support in carrying out their activities.

2. Associate members

Associate members are the legal entities that are intended to gain profit and conduct their business in various areas of industry, transport and power ecenomy, instrument engineering; interested in obtaining opportunities to expand their business with the help of the Association; the activities in the Russian wind energy market of these legal entities are not their primary at the time of joining the Association.

Associated members have full information about the work of market participants, available to the Association, command its support in establishing of contacts; in preparing wind park projects and the wind turbines components manufacturing and the wind turbines themselves; in attracting investments in their projects.

3. Full members

Full members are the legal entities that are intended to gain profit and conduct their business in various areas of industry, transport and power ecenomy, instrument engineering; interested in obtaining opportunities to expand their business with the help of the Association; the activities in the Russian wind energy market of these legal entities are their primary at the time of joining the Association. Full members of the Association have an active position in the market and, by their activities, influence the position building of the Association in relation to the Russian wind energy market.

Full members of the Association take part in the Board of the Association; in the legislative leadership, trade codes and standards; in excellence and retraining for the members of the Association and market participants, in all activities of the Association.

A candidate member of the Association has independence to choose the membership category, or such a category can be recommended to it by the Board of the Association during the procedure of voting for the candidacy.

The Association carries out its activities on funds from its members as membership fees. Membership fees, depending on the category, are established by the General Annual Meeting of the members of the RAWI. There are only annual fees to the association. The size of annual membership fees is indicated in the table of categories of membership:

* No separate entrance fee, the membership fee is valid for 365 days from the date of joining the association.

Regulations for joining

The candidate’s application is considered by the Board and votes on each candidate separately by secret ballot and in the case of a majority of votes cast to accept a member in the RAWI, he is accepted at the RAWI. From the voting day, he is considered to be a member of the association and the documents accompanying the membership are sent to him: a membership agreement, a voting protocol and an annual fee invoice, which must be paid within a maximum of 15 days.
