RAWI Chairman to Attend RENWEX’2022

Igor Bryzgunov, Chairman of the Board of the Russian Association of Wind Power Industry, will take part in the International Forum “RENWEX. Renewable Energy and Electric Transport”, which is taking place on June 21-23 in Moscow.

The Chairman of the RAWI Board will be a participant in the Forum’s two sessions. On the first day, it is the “Regional Decarbonisation Programmes: Pilot Projects and Real Results” session, moderated by Alexey Zhikharev, Director of the Russia Renewable Energy Development Association (RREDA). On day two, Igor Bryzgunov will address the “Russian Technologies for Renewable Energy” session, moderated by Oleg Zhdaneyev, Head of the Centre for Technological Development of the Fuel and Energy Complex, Ministry of Energy of the Russian Federation.

The topics of the discussions will allow participants to triangulate on the challenges faced by the Russian wind energy sector, related to the need for rapid import substitution in production and technology given the current political and economic agenda for new renewable energy projects in Russia.

RENWEX’2022 will be held under the motto “Creating the Future of Renewable Energy Together!” According to the organizers, the forum and exhibition will help unlock the potential of companies and formulate practical recommendations for implementing projects that will serve as a foundation for the growth of renewable energy technologies. The business programme will discuss the main challenges of renewable energy with representatives of key ministries, agencies and industry associations.

The three-day RENWEX’2022 forum and exhibition is scheduled to feature 14 business events and welcome more than 4,400 visitors from 33 countries.
