The participants of the meeting held in Izhevsk at the BUMMASH plant (Tatneft Group) satisfied that the capacity of the enterprise allows organising production of wind turbine components at its premises.

The meeting was attended by specialists from PJSC Tatneft and OOO Rekoinvest. The event was organised in the framework of the agreement between the companies on the establishment of production of wind turbine kits in Russia and the construction of a wind farm using equipment and technologies owned by China’s Harbin Electric Corporation WindPower (HEWP).

During the meeting, representatives of OOO Rekoinvest – CEO Igor Torgovtsev and his deputy, Dmitry Ivanov, inspected the production facilities of BUMMASH factory: casting, forging and metalworking production, and discussed with the company’s management – CEO Oleg Lashkarev and production director Andrey Chirkov – opportunities for production of wind turbine components and related issues.

The outcome of the meeting was a positive decision on the possibility of producing the wind turbine components at the facilities of BUMMASH Plant LLC.

As a reminder, the Russian-Chinese company Rekoinvest is the flagship company of the consortium Architects of the Urals’ Wind, which was established at the beginning of this year. The consortium now includes several RAWI members, more than 10 companies from China and Russia in total, most of which have significant experience in large wind power projects.
