On 18 January 2022 at 12:30 p.m. (Moscow time, GMT+3) or 10:30 a.m. (CEST), RAWI is holding a webinar on ‘Zero accident in the wind industry’, which we had to cancel in December, 2021 due to force majeure circumstances.

We will talk about the requirements for contractors and their personnel working at wind projects, the training and certification without which a specialist will not be allowed to install and maintain a wind turbine and even carry out normal ‘on-call’ work at a wind farm site – whether it be laying cables or transporting wind power equipment.

Paul Robbins, Chairman, Chief H&S Specialist. GWO Executive Committee, Vestas, will explain why wind turbine manufacturers have introduced specialist certification requirements and where in Russia you can get training and obtain the necessary certificates.

The level of expertise of the participants ensures there would be an interesting conversation to unfold. Ralph Savage, Director, Global Development & Stakeholder Relations, GWO, and Mikhail Kuzmich, Board Member, Baltic Offshore Training Centre (BOTC), will discuss wind energy injury reduction with Paul Robbins.

We would like to remind you that the webinar will be useful for designers/developers of wind farms, heads of consulting and construction companies performing contract work on wind power plants, managers and assigned persons in the wind power industry, specialists performing construction supervision and on-site designer supervision, heads and managers of companies considering wind power as a new field of activity, specialists planning to work in the wind power.
