The Russian Association of Wind Power Industry has entered into a cooperation agreement with Hamburg Messe und Congress GmbH, organiser of the global wind energy trade fair WindEnergy Hamburg, to be held at the Hamburg Trade Fair from September 27 to 30, 2022.

According to the agreement, RAWI will be a partner of WindEnergy Hamburg, a global exhibition event that brings together the world’s largest onshore and offshore wind industry players every two years beneath the same roof. The exhibition focuses on international cooperation in the wind energy sector. More than 1,400 exhibitors from 40 countries around the world are showcasing their products and developments here. In 2022, the exhibition is expected to attract more than 35,000 visitors from 100 countries.

The WindEnergy Hamburg exhibits traditionally cover the entire spectrum of the industry. Equipment manufacturers, designers, IT representatives, financiers and energy service providers in the wind power sector present their achievements. In addition to developments from key players in the wind industry, innovative start-ups are also presented to the audience. Together, this makes WindEnergy Hamburg what it is – the world’s largest business platform for the wind power industry.

WindEnergy Hamburg offers unique opportunities to its participants:

  • stay up-to-date with information from expert discussions
  • become part of the global wind energy community, meeting decision makers in person
  • share your perspective with a wider audience and showcase the benefits of your products, as the exhibition enables active communication with the media

The organisers claim that four exhibition days save a businessman four months of business travel. RAWI invites its members not to miss out on the unique business opportunity and take part in WindEnergy Hamburg by organising a joint Russian pavilion.

As a reminder, in 2018, a delegation from the Ulyanovsk Oblast, headed by the region’s then-governor Sergey Morozov, and Chairman of the Russian Association of Wind Power Industry (RAWI) Igor Bryzgunov were exhibitors in Hamburg. In 2020, because of the COVID-19 pandemic, the exhibition was held online. RAWI members participated by giving presentations at B2B meetings.
