During the opening plenary session, Morten Dirholm, Chairman of the Global Wind Energy Council (GWEC) and Senior Vice President of Vestas Wind Systems Group, one of the leading wind energy solutions companies, will deliver a welcome video message to participants of the RAWI FORUM 2021.

GWEC is a membership organisation representing all sectors of the wind energy industry. GWEC members represent more than 1,500 companies, organisations and institutions in over 80 countries, including manufacturers, developers, component suppliers, research institutes, national wind and other renewable energy associations, power suppliers, financial and insurance companies. GWEC includes national wind energy trade associations from both established and emerging markets, including the world’s largest markets in the US and Europe, as well as India and China.

A round table will be held at RAWI FORUM 2021 to discuss opportunities, obstacles and prospects for cooperation between Russian companies and companies from CIS (Commonwealth of Independent States) countries, EAEC and Europe.

Georgy Ermolenko, Director of the Department of External Relations, Executive Committee of the CIS Electric Power Council, will make a presentation on topical issues of cooperation of the CIS member states in the renewable energy. The speakers and participants of the round table will be representatives of the Russian-German Chamber of Commerce, Luso-Russian Chamber of Commerce (Portugal), Basque Trade & Investment (Basque Country, Spain), UK Department for International Trade Russia, and Franco-Russian Chamber of Commerce and Industry.

The Forum will be held offline, but given the difficulties encountered during the pandemic for foreign delegations, RAWI is providing an opportunity for online participation in the international round table via Zoom. Entry will be available by pre-registration.
