In April this year, the Russian Association of Wind Power Industry (RAWI) presented the large-scale Russian Wind Energy Market Review and Ranking of Russian Regions 2020 in Russian. Now the trademark insights, which are exclusive not only to the Russian, but also to the global market, are available in English and German.
The annual review written with the readability of the global stakeholder population in mind was symbolically released on the professional holiday, the Global Wind Day. This date is marked in all countries’ calendars at the initiative of the European Wind Energy Association and the Global Wind Energy Council in order to draw attention to the need for wind energy development and the challenges faced by the industry.
“RAWI, for its part, fully shares these body’s position and strives to provide foreign market participants with the complete insight into the Russian wind power industry with one of the initiatives aimed at achieving the goal being the publication of the report in foreign languages,” Igor Bryzgunov, Chairman of the Russian Association of Wind Power Industry, said.
The review reflects not only the state of the Russian wind energy market and its main trends in its entirety, but also provides an up-to-date picture of what is happening in the country.
Leading RAWI members, who nowadays shape and determine the ways of development of the wind energy market in Russia, took part in the preparation of the review. One of partners was the Energy Centre of the Moscow School of Management SKOLKOVO.
