The highest wind turbine in the world, with a tower height of 175m, was put into operation using Peikko Group (member of RAWI) foundation technology.
Installation of the wind turbine required the construction of one central foundation for the tower and three auxiliary foundations to ensure structural stability.
The project was implemented by developer TuuliWatti Oy at the Viinamäki wind farm, Finland.
The application of Peikko technology will make it possible to implement ambitious projects for the construction of wind parks with towers reaching heights of up to 200m.
