New Member Of The Russian Wind Energy Market Review 2019’s Expert Council

The upcoming Review 2019, which is slated to be released in February 2020, is in the active development stage. The Expert council was joined by the NovaWind JSC, which will be represented by Egor Grinkevich, Deputy Director General for Development of Technical and Regulatory Regulation of Wind Power Plants.

We invite all RAWI members and market participants to participate in the preparation of the Review 2019.

We are open to proposals for the expansion of the Expert council from the companies which intensify their efforts in the Russian wind energy market.

In addition, market participants are invited to send their opinion pieces for the Review 2019 (deadline is December 2, 2019).

NovaWind JSC is a new division of Rosatom; its primary objective is to consolidate the State Corporation’s efforts in advanced segments and technological platforms of the electric power sector. Founded in 2017 with a charter capital of RUB 1.101 billion, the company consolidates all of the Rosatom’s wind energy assets. NovaWind implements the corporation’s strategy in the wind energy business. The strategy success requires forming of new competencies in Russia, such as wind farms’ construction and management, localisation and ramp-up production of wind turbines, marketing and sales of new products along with their top quality after-sales support.
