VetroOGK received a construction permit for 210MW Kochubeyevskaya Wind Power Plant in the Stavropol Krai. The total area of construction site exceeds 725 thousand square meters.
Kochubeyevskaya Power Plant is going to become the largest wind power plant in Russia. The total capacity of wind power plants planned for construction in the region is 400 MW. The building permit has allowed beginning the deployment of equipment and the first stage of work on the construction site. The next stage will be the performance of the entire complex of construction and installation works and delivery of equipment and components of wind turbines.
Successful undergoing of the examination in the Autonomous Unit of the Stavropol Krai “State construction expert assessment department” confirms that the design documentation for the WPP construction facilities meets the results of engineering surveys and requirements of all technical regulations of the Urban Development Code of the Russian Federation.
NovaWind, JSC is an equal shareholder of the joint venture with its Dutch technology partner Lagerwey. The joint venture Red Wind B.V. was established in November 2017. Red Wind is responsible for marketing, sales and turnkey supply of wind turbines. The Ministry of Industry and Trade, NovaWind, JSC and Red Wind B.V. signed a special investment contract for the deployment of industrial production and assembly of key wind turbine components in Volgodonsk, Rostov Oblast, Russia, in February 2019. The planned production capacity will be about 96 sets per year. The volume of investments of NovaWind, JSC in production is estimated at 955 million roubles.
Totaled up, the companies in the management contour of NovaWind, JSC have the creation of the wind farms with a total capacity of 1 GW ahead of them by 2023. The wind power plants will emerge in the Republic of Adygea, Stavropol Krai and Rostov Oblast.
