We are delighted to present a new member of the RAWI — Monsson Energostroy, LLC (a member of the MONSSON group of companies originating from Europe).
The Monsson group of companies was created in order to cover the entire range of services within the renewable energy business sector.
Each company in the group has an unique profile and is oriented towards a specific business segment: from project development to engineering and construction, from assets installation, operation and maintenance to energy trading and from consultancy to research and development of new solutions for the future.
Whether it is a wind, solar, small hydro or desalination project, Monsson has it all covered and is able to deliver a mix of extended know-how, added value services, high performance, quality and safety standards, as well as costs and profits optimization.
MONSSON group of companies was founded in 2007 in Romania when Monsson aimed to make a breakthrough on the local market as an independent services provider for wind and solar power plants. Over a decade of activity in this business sector Monsson grew up to be a leading independent services provider in Romania and also to expand its services within various EMEA, APAC and NA regions.
While facing a large and rather fast expansion, the company decided to incorporate local companies in some of the countries where strong market opportunities were identified. As of this moment, local companies are incorporated in Romania, Greece, Ireland, Poland, Sweden, Germany, Turkey, South Africa and the United States of America. This expansion generates a significant footprint which helps to serve customers and projects worldwide.
Monsson – wind services to power your projects
Monsson brings to the local market a wide portfolio of wind services which have been identified to be well suited to meet our Customers needs for either new or operational wind farms. What we see as a viable option at this moment is:
Mechanical & electrical installation
Starting from onsite storage and coordination of components and up to both mechanical and electrical installation, we are carefully planning and executing every aspect concerning the wind turbines installation while delivering the service under a safe and time efficient manner.
Remote monitoring & dispatch
We perform the remote monitoring & dispatch by using a highly equipped control center. There are monitored & dispatched multiple assets from both wind and solar (wind turbines, substations, main transformer stations, inverters, solar modules) through 15 individual SCADA systems and 2 centralized SCADA systems.
Operation & maintenance
The O&M services are critical to optimizing returns from a wind farm. We are offering both preset and customized O&M packages for wind assets and so being able to cover any project needs for an extended lifetime and an increased efficiency.
Operation & maintenance – the approach:
- Live remote monitoring & dispatch
- Planned maintenance
- Corrective maintenance
- On call interventions during working hours
- On call interventions outside working hours
- Availability guarantee
- Execution of upgrades & retrofits
- Consumables & materials
- Minor spare parts
- Major spare parts
- Inventory management
- In depth turbine visual inspection
- Access ladder & service lift inspection
- Blades inspection (rope access)
- CMS – vibration analysis
- Gearbox video-endoscopy
- Gearbox oil change
- Access to Monsson Customer Portal
- Dedicated CRM for assistance & support
- Dispatch reports (live events)
- Performance reports (monthly)
- Planned maintenance
We perform planned maintenance tasks according to the specifications and indications included in the maintenance manuals released by the OEMs. Due to our extended know-how in the field, we can come up with strategies and solutions which can optimize the duration and improve the maintained equipment and parts functionality.
We perform blades inspection by using the rope access technique and blades repair by using rope access or suspended platform techniques. Both of these two close-up techniques allow us to effectively identify, record, restore and/or repair a great variety of defects and damages anywhere on the blades.
We perform gearbox video-endoscopy by using a high performance industrial borescope – the Mentor Visual IQ. This inspection aims to evaluate the overall condition status of the gearbox, as well as of the gear oil, bearings, cogs and sprockets.
Condition monitoring through vibration analysis
We perform vibration analysis by using a top efficient offline portable system – the SKF WindCon, equipped with 8 reading sensors. The analysis aims to evaluate the condition status and time evolution of mechanical moving parts through a diagnosis based on frequency spectrum and wavelet analysis.
