From September 25 to September 28, the Global Wind Summit (WindEnergy Hamburg 2018) will take place in Hamburg, which will unite the large-scale world exhibition WindEnergy Hamburg and the WindEurope conference. Leading manufacturers from 40 countries will represent their innovative technologies and equipment for the wind power industry this year, with over 1,400 participants discussing the “pain points” of the industry during business sessions, including cost effectiveness, market development and active introduction of know-how.

The delegation of the Ulyanovsk Oblast, a pioneer of Russian wind energy, led by Governor Sergei Morozov together with the Chairman of the Russian Association of Wind Power Industry Igor Bryzgunov , ARWE-2019 specialists  (the International Renewable Energy Forum) will attend the key event of the world wind energy industry.

During the business trip, representatives of the Russian wind industry will hold meetings with the leading wind energy companies of Germany, Denmark, Sweden, France, Spain and other countries to discuss the prospects for cooperation and localization of the production of wind turbines components and raw materials in Russia.

Within the framework of WindEurope, the Governor of the Ulyanovsk Oblast Sergey Morozov will take part in the panel discussion on the “Global issues. Russia and Saudi Arabia” topic, dedicated to the two largest potential new markets in the world, Russia and Saudi Arabia. Sergey Morozov will share his experience of successful promotion of environmentally friendly technologies in the Ulyanovsk Oblast, where the first national industrial wind farm has been built.

— The Ulyanovsk Oblast is one of the leaders of Russia’s investment development, with all conditions for localization of high technologies for renewable energy have been created here. We are building a powerful wind farm and forming an production chain of wind turbines. Way forward is to build and commission several more wind farms with a total capacity of over 250 MW in the next five years. But the most important and complex task of this project is to concentrate and localize in the region the competencies related to green energy,” – noted the Governor of the Ulyanovsk Oblast Sergey Morozov. ” — The formation of a production cluster is a continuing process on the territory of the region, and we are negotiating with the world’s leading manufacturers to localize the production of blades and other components, raw materials.

— Today, Hamburg is the world’s wind energy capital. Thousands of companies specializing in creating innovative wind power equipment are based here. WindEnergy Hamburg is an excellent opportunity for market players aside from exchanging their accumulated experience, but also the opportunity to hold a number of important meetings with industry experts and representatives of manufacturing companies, which will allow us to further develop our business to the whole new level,” – commented the RAWI Chairman Igor Bryzgunov.

Let us recall that next year the Ulyanovsk region will host the International Forum on Renewable Energy, ARWE-2019 on the basis of the ULNANOTECH Center with the support of the Ministry of Energy of the Russian Federation, the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation and with the assistance of the RAWI. The Forum is organized by Elektrifikatsiya JSC, one of the largest operators of congress and exhibition projects in the field of energy, including the Russian Energy Week, the ENES, the All-Russian Festival of Energy Saving #VmesteYarche (Russian: ВместеЯрче), English: ItIs BrighterTogether) and others.
