The project is being implemented by the government of Yakutia, JSC RusHydro jointly with the Japanese organization for the development of new energy and industrial technologies. The Arctic wind farm with a total capacity of 900 kW in the north of Yakutia will be built in 2020. In the village of Tiksi Bulunsky ulus, the construction of a wind farm began. The project is implemented by the government of Yakutia, PJSC RusHydro together with the Japanese organization for the development of new energy and industrial technologies (NEDO). The Japanese company will equip the facility with equipment. By the autumn of 2018, experts will install three wind turbines with a unit capacity of 300 kW. Completely complete the construction is planned in 2020. Earlier it was reported that NEDO is aimed at expanding tests in the field of wind power in the harsh climatic conditions of Yakutia. At the first WEF in 2015, a memorandum was signed between PJSC RAO Energy Systems of the East, the Republic of Sakha and the Japanese company KomaiHaltek Inc., a regular partner of NEDO.
