Today, 18 January 2022 at 12:30 pm (Moscow time, GMT+3), we invite everyone to attend a free webinar for professionals working or planning to start a wind energy business.

The topic of the webinar is the training and certification requirements without which a specialist won’t just be allowed to install and maintain a wind farm, but also to carry out regular ‘on-call’ work at a wind farm site – whether it be laying cables or transporting wind power equipment.

Paul Robbins, Chairman, Chief H&S Specialist. GWO Executive Committee, Vestas, will explain why wind turbine manufacturers have introduced specialist certification requirements and where in Russia you can get training and obtain the necessary certificates. Ralph Savage, Director, Global Development & Stakeholder Relations, GWO, and Mikhail Kuzmich, Board Member, Baltic Offshore Training Centre (BOTC), will discuss wind energy injury reduction with Paul Robbins.

The speakers will be happy to answer questions from professionals planning to work in wind power, construction inspection and supervision, managers and specialists of companies contracting in wind power plants, as well as those considering wind power as a new field of their activity.
