Come & See: RAWI Members to Take Factory Tour of Industry’s Global-Standing Player

RAWI Members to Take Factory Tour of Industry’s Global-Standing Playe

RAWI’s work is designed to stimulate the country’s wind power industry development, to support the creation and implementation of the association members’ projects, to build competence, and to attract new companies to the market.

For the association, one way to solve these tasks is to arrange the business trips and visits to iconic companies’ facilities. Such trips, followed by discussions on topical issues, allow company members to exchange experiences, learn details of manufacturing processes, and evaluate promising and already-in-use technologies in the wind industry. The main result of meetings for RAWI members is the enhancement of competencies through learning from the best Russian and foreign experience.

“It is a unique opportunity for market participants to join large and landmark projects, learn about the practices of the industry leaders and receive feedback on their initiatives from global experts,” Chairman of the RAWI, Igor Bryzgunov said.

The earliest business tour will take place in July this year. A delegation of RAWI members will visit one of the key Russian centres for localisation of wind turbines manufacture established by a foreign company. The programme and the composition of the delegation are currently being finalised.
