The Russian-German Chamber of Commerce, the Russian Association of Wind Power Industry (RAWI) and the Agency for Technological Development of the Ulyanovsk Oblast within the framework of the HUSUM Wind 2019 business programme (which is being held in Husum, Germany, 10-13 September 2019) will hold the “Russia, a new market for wind power industry” session.
HUSUM Wind is the largest international wind power industry trade fair that is held every two year. It showcases leading-edge wind power industry technologies, discusses innovative concepts and policy trends, and provides comprehensive information on products and services in the industry market.
This year, the trade fair will gather 15,000 guests of the exhibition and business programme and 650 exhibiting companies from 25 countries.
The “Russia, a new market for wind power industry” session will be held with the participation of the Governor of the Ulyanovsk Oblast Sergey Morozov who will present regional experience in developing renewable energy sources in Russia.
The session is devoted to the potential of the Russian market for the industry:
- The specifics of the mechanisms for supporting wind projects in Russia;
- The leading marketers implementing wind projects in Russia; the first results of the implemented projects;
- How the projects on localization of wind turbine components production in Russian regions are implemented and what opportunities for foreign companies are available.
Igor Bryzgunov, Chairman of the Russian Association of Wind Power Industry, will talk about the current state of the Russian wind power industry and present a review of the Russian wind energy market, which was previously released in German.

The session is taking place on September 11, 2019 from 12:30 to 14:00 local time.
