— The session is devoted to the prospects for the development of renewable energy sources (RES) in remote settlements, including in the Arctic and isolated areas. Among the participants, specialized professionals are going to be there, both Russian and foreign. The discussion will focus on what exactly measures are needed to be put in place on the part of commercial market participants, research organizations, on the part of regulation bodies and on the part of customers, which are communal energy generating companies or large grid companies, as the platform moderator, general director of Altren, the Renewable Energy Competence Center, Andrei Redkin said.
Representatives of a number of relevant ministries – the Ministry of Industry and Trade, the Ministry of Energy, and the Ministry of Environment – will all be called for a dialogue.
— We also invite a number of companies that already shape this market – Rosatom, oil companies, representatives of equipment manufacturers, primarily wind turbine manufacturers, including the foreign ones, Belgian, Chinese, and Japanese. We invite, of course, potential Russian consumers, which are Arkhangelskenergo, Murmanskenergo, Rosseti, RusHydro and other key players, he specified.
According to Mr Redkin, experts are going to discuss the possibilities of developing the territories, their conditions, and investment protection mechanisms.
