The Russian Association of Wind Power Industry (RAWI) invites OEMs to cooperate with the aim of organizing the production of their wind generators in the national market. Requirements for potential partners: – experience in the production of wind turbines with a unit capacity of at least 2.5 MW., – availability of own design documentation for wind generators, – confirmed reference list of successful operation of their wind generators more than one – immunity to sanctions against Russia, – readiness to localize the production of its own wind generators on the territory of Russia, The following cooperation models are considered: a joint venture for the organization of production, installation and operation or the acquisition of a license. The volume of orders is more than 1000 MW in Russia.
The national legislation on support of renewable energy sources is recognized by foreign experts as the most motivating producers to develop the industry in Russia. Now the next competition for the selection of projects has started.
The country has the world’s largest wind energy development potential, which is also provided with a reserve of production forces. Sanctions are not a serious obstacle in the development of wind power. Today, three powerful global OEMs: Vestas, SGRE and Laguervey – are working to localize their wind generators. But the sanctions so far impede the development of wind power in the Crimea, and this is a serious market, with a potential of more than 1 GW, for the next 3 years and 3 GW in the next 10 years, moreover, with a serious development prospect, the presence of large production forces and energy shortages.
