The Ministry of Energy of the Russian Federation plans to hold tenders in 2018 for the construction of renewable energy (RES) facilities with a total capacity of almost 1 GW, said First Deputy Energy Minister Alexei Texler within the framework of the Russian Energy Week.
“57 MW – by the sun, 899 MW – in the wind (wind farm), “he said.
Answering the question whether all these volumes will be put up for tender in 2018, he said: “Probably yes”.
Recall that at the 2017 the volume was won in tender for construction of wind farms during 2018-2022 was 1651,060 MW.
Legislation on the support of renewable energy sources provides for the construction of 3,350 MW of wind farms by 2024, with the share of equipment localization and work in the construction of wind parks rising to 65%. Inside of 65% of the required local content, 44% is the share attributable to the production of wind turbines.
The winners of the tender gets a long-term capacity supply agreement (LTCA or DPM), which lasts 15 years, when to investor is guaranteed 12% profit.
